Britannia
Royal Paper
The Governor of our great, Governor
Nathaniel Britannia, gave a speech on the courthouse steps after returning from
the Royal Caribbean Colonies. He spoke eloquently for such a young man, and I
was quite impressed with the way he handled the crowd of men, farmers who
wished to see the Native population of Britannia, forcibly removed from the
Western lands. The farmers see it as their natural right as Scottish citizens
to acquire such lands. Governor
Britannia in his speech stated that, “I know all of you wish to have more land;
I know that our colony needs to expand, to grow stronger, and to be the best
that we can. To give back to Scotland for all that she has given us. However,
the Native tribes to our great colony helped me personally, raid and get rid of
the English loyalists and those that would harm our great country. So I ask of
you let them be, I will speak to them. They will go to the great hunting lands,
which we all share for the winter. They go so that they we don’t have to. They
go so that we can plant for the spring. They will not be using parts of their
field for the winter months, I am sure that they will loan us those acres of
land for us to use, as long as we return it when they return after the spring
harvest. They are our allies; they control other violent tribes that wish to
destroy us. To our south lies such tribes, if you wish to expand, expand
southward. There is just as rich land to the south as there is to the west. I
implore you as your Governor and your friend. Respect our allies’ wishes.” Now
time will only tell what the farmers and others might do, however I foresee in
our future southern expansion.
