Captain's Log Month 2 Day 15
September 15 1701
We have already built many homes for my men to settle and farm, the native population that I call friends have already shown us the best places to plant for the winter. They have also given us food and shown my best hunters the places to hunt and fish for the winter. I can already tell that this colony will get off the ground well. I have noticed however some of these aren't as tolerant of the native population as my sailors and I are. I will have to show them the good that the native population can do. If they do not like it. I will do what I do best, and they won't like it when I do. I wish to get back to sea soon. I can feel Lady Britannia, of which my family is named, calling me back to the sea. To sail on her oceans. However there is much to do, and it will be another month before I can take the ships to trade our supplies to the Caribbeans or back to Scotland, there is much timber that can be sold for high prices. I can only hope that Lady Britannia continues to smile favors upon us.
Captain Nathaniel Britannia.
