Captain's Log Month 1, Day 3

August 3, 1701

We have been sailing for little over a month now, and
some of those that have never sailed before are starting to get nervous. They are farmers, never getting off their land. We will be settling in what was formerly known as Jamestown, after the Tudors of England and their King James I settled there. I originally had no Problem with the Colony, and it wasn't long until they started making more. I had no loyalties to Scotland as their navy did nothing to stop the Spanish raiders, so their coup meant little to me. It wasn't until they started threatening my crew member and friend Wallace, our now King, that I decided to step in. What was once a bustling colony with many resources, I reduced to ash. It didn't take long between my pirate raids and the Indian raids until they either all left or got wiped out. Now We head back their to resettle it. To fix it up and make it our own. The other colonies pledged their allegiance to James Wallace I, so I guess I won't need to destroy them either. I shall make trade with Boston though. Boston is a beautiful city, and one that allows me to freely move my ship in and out.
