So the most curious thing landed on my desk today as we restocked at our ports. It was a column from the Edinburgh Evening Courant. I was quite surprised when they mentioned my families name, as well as me. However that curiousness faded when they said I was dishonoring my grandfather. They called us Pirate and thieves, which is mostly true, we were a pirate colony to begin with. However we were also Scottish once. I will decimate Admiral Nelson, I will burn his prized fleet to the ground. I will make sure I do it while he is still inside, and if I don't succeed, and he somehow survives, I'll sail to Scotland with my fleet. I will turn that country inside out and turn every city into ash with my cannons. They will now what pirate raid is really like. However I cannot get to hasty. We need to secure our borders then we can talk about blasting Scotland to kingdom come. I will make sure though, that what is left of the Admiral Nelson's fleet not even the almighty himself could recognize. We are doing better on land, the winter is coming and the Crown have brought in the Grenadiers, the black coats, one of the finest military forces in the world, alongside the mercenary Hessians. We will have to overcome them through tactics, and if the Crown brings in the Hessians, we might be in trouble, but I will sink them hopefully, before they can get to the mainland. I do not know what lies ahead. However I will be ready for it, and when the time comes, all will know our strength.
Admiral Thomas Britannia
