Journal of Admiral Thomas Britannia

January 21, 1766

I knew we would become a true army, as I looked out upon the ranks of men that formed up our land forces, I was proud to call myself a Britannian, I was proud to be a leader within our military, I saw for myself the strength and power that our army had. Under the command of General George Arne Longstreet, we will be victorious over the black coats. We will become independent, however we also got help from an unexpected ally. Ireland has decided to rebel as well, turning the Great Scottish Empire, into nothing but a shell, I will be escorting dignitaries to Ireland to form an alliance, as well as troops to help them to stay independent, no doubt along the way we will meet Nelson. I can't wait to scuttle and burn his victory to ash. I am only sailing with half my fleet though, I have left the other half back in United Britannia so that they may continue to supply and raid Scottish ships, as well protect her borders from parts of the Scottish Fleet that we may miss. Although unlikely, we cannot plan for everything. I have with me sixty-five warships. From what I have heard the Royal Navy have at least two and half times my current strength. However numbers don't always  mean victory. I will have to use the ocean, as well as the speed  of our ships to beat them. I can only hope that Lady Britannia will guide me to victory over Nelson. I can smell it in the air though. A storm is coming, and if the Royal Navy aren't careful, they will bogged down in the storm.
