On the eve of our nation's first battle, I cannot help but think of all the sacrifices my family, and all the families of our great colonies have made in service to Scotland. However on the eve of this night, we break away. We learn to rule ourselves and fight as one nation, together. Our ships that we once used as merchant vessels are now being converted to warships, under command of the grandsons of those that sailed with my grandfather. I will be the head of the navy, just like my grandfather before me, I will raid and fight like he taught me. They will again learn the terror of facing pirates. They will learn what has been passed down through the Britannia line. What has been passed to all of these colonists. The will to lead ourselves, the fires of independence have been lit, and they will not so easily been extinguished. My brothers on land will begin opening fire with the cannons at dawn. I along with two other converted warships will begin attacking from the water ways, we will lay waste to the Scottish invaders. They have far overstayed there welcome.
